Ronnie Dehaven Jr collects $4000 Three State Flyers Red Nininger Memorial at Winchester Speedway

Ronnie Dehaven Jr picked up the feature win in the 40 lap Three State Flyers Red Nininger Memorial Saturday Night June 26, 2010 at Winchester Speedway. Other winners included Mike Corbin ,Chuck Johnson, Mark Diggs,and Kevin Oates.

 

Twenty Eight cars checked into the pit area for the 40 lap  $4000 to win  Gasoline Alley Late Model Three State Flyers Red Nininger Memorial Saturday Night at Winchester Speedway and it was Ronnie Dehaven Jr Picking up the win. Dehaven and Roy Deese Jr lead the field to the drop of the green with Dehaven taking the lead over Deese. Third place starter Jason Covert quickly jumped into the second spot on lap two and set his sights on Dehaven. Caution flew on lap seven for a slow moving Kyle Lear who went pit side with mechanical failure and Nick Dickson sitting in turn one.. The field reset to take the green would see Dehaven, Covert and Miller. Dehaven leading would see Covert and Miller battling for the runner up spot with Miller taking second on lap ten. Dehaven in total control would see Miller within a car length trying to take the top spot but could not make the move. Dehaven, Miller and Covert the top three all within reach of the leader would see a caution fly on lap twenty-six for Brad Omps. Dehaven set to take the green would have a few more challenges from Miller in lapped traffic but Miller could not make the pass. Dehaven would go onto the pick up the win, Miller crossed second, Covert third, JT Spence fourth and rounding out the top five was Roy Deese Jr. The heat race winners were Dehaven, Miller and Denny Bonebrake. The B-Main was won by Kyle Hardy and The Dash was won by Dehaven.

 

In the fifteen lap Niningers Tire & Auto Pure Stocks it was Mike Corbin picking up the win. Brian Lutrell and Corbin lead the field to the green with Corbin taking the top spot with third place starter James Gray taking second. A six car pile up on lap two caused a caution to fly. Corbin leading the way for the next several laps would see another caution fly on lap five.  Waiting to take the green was Corbin, Gray and twelth place starter Mike Bennett now sitting third.  The battle between Gray and Bennett for the runner up spot would see Bennett make the pass on lap twelve and set his sights on Corbin.  Bennett to the inside of Crobin as the two battled side by side for the top spot would see another caution on lap thirteen. Corbin in the hot seat see Bennett get beside him on lap fourteen but could not make the move. Corbin would pick up the win, Bennett second, Lutrell third, Kaiser fourth and rounding out the top five was Josh Williams. The heat race winners were Mike Rose and Bennett.

 

The Dehaven Well Drilling 4 Cylinders would do double duty as they made up the feature event that was rained out on Saturday Night June 19, 2010. Picking up the win in the make-up feature was Chuck Johnson. Cody Gray would cross second, Mark Diggs third, Billy Sonner fourth and rounding out the top five was Tommy Whitt.

In their regular scheduled event for the night it was Mark Diggs picking up the win. Scott Mccartney and Diggs would lead the field to the green with Diggs taking the top spot . Randy Linaburg would take the runner up spot until lap six as Cody Gray did battle to claim it. Gary set his sights on Diggs but could not make the pass. Diggs would pick up the win, Gray second, Sonner third, Chuck Johnson fourth and rounding out the top five was Ed Gageby.Chuck Johnson and Diggs would pick up the heat race wins.

 

The Finish Line Auto U-Cars would see Kevin Oates pick up the win. Brenda Alexander and Jason Wilkins lead the field to the green with Wilkins taking the top spot. Fourth place starter Oates would take the lead on lap two . Only one caution would fly in the fifteen lap main event for Al Meeks and Chris Shifflett. Oates in control would go onto to pick up the win with Josh Wilkins second, third Jason Wilkins, fourth Sean Williams and rounding out the top five was Robert Plaugher Sr. The heat races were won by Jason Wilkins and Robert Plaugher Sr.
